Inside Sales Representative (Fort Worth)

Responsible for building customer relationships while providing exceptional customer service by using in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating efficiently and effectively. Responsible for conducting on-line and telephone sales to a target our customer segment. Position plays a fundamental role in achieving new customers and sales growth objectives. Responsible for expanding the PTL footprint by delivering specific sales objectives that are consistent with the overall sales strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to customers of which PTL does not hold 100% of their fuel and lubricant business
  • Achievement of sales objectives set by Manager. Development of newcustomers for PTL. Achievement of sales targets. Execute sales strategies for Key Accounts.
  • Provide an accurate update to Leadership and to the PTL CRM Tool regardingsales forecasts. Utilize sales methodology that PTL hasdeployed within the business. Follow internal sales processes for the development of pricingand contracts. Understand and operate within the delegation of authority.
  • Coordinate with Leadership to execute sales plans with customers.
  • Build customer rapport by providing the highest level of customer service
  • Respond productively to customer needs whether communicated via phone or email
  • Accurately create sales orders for incoming order requests the first time, every time

Other Functions:

  • Special projects as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years' experience in an Inside Sales role or 2-5 years' experience in a Customer Service/Call Center role
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish highly desired.
  • Ability and desire to listen and understand information.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Ability and desire to respond well to an environment with continuous change

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.


Working Conditions:

  • May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to ten (10) pounds
  • May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time
  • May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard
