Nights Operations Supervisor - Fort Lupton, CO

Serves as a resource for the warehouse operations team, assigning work and monitoring performance. Responsible for warehouse order accuracy, productivity levels, and facility maintenance. Coordinates warehouse and operations activities. Trains team members, to ensure well-coordinated shipping, receiving and operations plan.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as team leader and set the tone for cooperation, job performance, compliance with company policies/procedures, and plant safety.
  • Provide assessment and informational updates on worker performance to Director of Operations.
  • Supervise ongoing maintenance and organization in the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible.
  • Maintain all equipment to ensure productivity and safety, and know its locations at all times.
  • Review inventories to gain efficiencies in purchasing and delivery capabilities - perform monthly inventory counts for all locations and reconcile daily.
  • File appropriate paperwork and fees with all State and Federal governmental agencies, including certifications and monthly/annual inspections of facilities in regional area.
  • Supervises monthly safety meetings ensuring compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
  • Supervises driver's meetings to provide avenue for Driver input & communications.
  • Review inventories to gain efficiencies in purchasing and delivery capabilities - perform monthly inventory counts for all locations and reconcile daily.
  • Order for all regional locations, including office and field supplies using Coupa.
  • Implement, support and become a GRID champion for the region.
  • Administer processes for receiving and validating 3rd-party loads into Company tanks.
  • Supervise and participate in pulling products to fill delivery orders and process related paperwork.
  • Participates in shipping and receiving products.
  • Confirm trucks are not overloaded or overweight.
  • Comply with all appropriate safety-related policies and procedures.
  • Complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for team members and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.
  • Recommends equipment requirements and replacements to the Director of Operations in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the progressive disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; ensures a productive labor climate in the warehouse operation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years' experience of progressively responsible experience in similar role.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills.
  • Class A/B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred, but not necessary.
  • Current 1 year DOT medical card preferred, but not necessary.
  • Inventory relatedorder entrycomputerskills required.
  • Must be forklift-certified.
  • Experience with hazardous materials and lubricants is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of warehousing techniques and concepts.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • DM2 and/or SAGE proficiency required for customer order processing and dispatch when needed, inventory views and production orders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Reasonable comprehension of the company team member handbook and its contents, specifically in matters of policies and procedures.


Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
