Regional Talent Acquisition Partner/Recruiter - Carlin, NV

Manage full life-cycle recruiting process, including: sourcing, selection, offer negotiation, and initiating the onboarding process for field employees. Much of this role is conducted with hiring managers and candidates via phone and email, but also includes manager training, participation in leadership meetings and job fairs.

The hired candidate can be located in Carlin, NV OR Las Vegas, NV. Office terminal for Carlin is located at 3025 Griffin Street / Carlin, NV 89822 and Office terminal for Las Vegas is located at 4825 North Sloan Lane / Las Vegas, NV 89115; 3 Days in the office and 2 Day remote.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively recruits well-qualified applicants from variety of sources, including cold calling, sourcing on Pilot Logistics Services applicant tracking system, sourcing on LinkedIn and various Job Boards, and networking
  • Drives and manages applicant flow for assigned requisitions
  • Conducts in-depth telephone assessment of applicants through comprehensive interviewing and work history review
  • Presents positive impression of company by staying informed of company products, history and benefits
  • Ability to manage direct relationships with hiring managers
  • Ability to conduct effective needs analysis assessment for new requisitions
  • Negotiate offer package details with candidates
  • Build project timeline (recruiting plan) for new searches
  • Responsible for placing and editing job advertisements in various media outlets, internet resume mining, cold calling, job fairs and screening applicants

Other Functions:

  • Special projects as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in high volume recruiting role
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Natural ability to captivate all audiences with effective communication
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage recruitment and hiring process including, but not limited to: develop candidate pool through fresh/blind name generation; direct recruit passive candidates almost exclusively; display aptitude to recruit passive candidates; be proactive in exploring new sources of research for developing applicant pool by means of internet, social media and other on-line capabilities
  • Highly responsive and customer focused with strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple positions nationwide
  • Self-motivated and self-efficient, and have prior demonstrated experience in doing so
  • Proactive identification of active and passive talent through flawless execution of creative thinking for challenging roles and markets

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources required
