Tire Service Technician- Nights

Position Summary:
Performs tire and tire-related services at the customer's location, on the road, or any other location.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Mount, demount, balances and repairs commercial and other tires and wheels.
  • Follows established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service, and notes other needed services.
  • Drive to customer locations or provide roadside service for inspections and tire repair.
  • Organizes the work site, the vehicles and the appropriate tools and equipment for optimum job efficiency and safety.
  • Works under general supervision, making decisions independently while away from shop.
  • Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies.

Other Functions:

  • Special projects as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience with heavy duty/commercial tires.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • TIA (Tire Industry Association) certified training preferred.
  • Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and understand written documentation.
  • Follows operating procedures and complies with all regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work independently.


  • High school diploma or GED required
