PTL  recently recognized Carlin Ore Driver Carlos S. as a Safety Champion for his  heroism while on duty. Carlos was traveling in the early morning on Interstate 80 making his normal delivery, when a car in front of his vehicle  went off the roadway and overturned.

Carlos safely stopped his truck and rendered care until emergency services arrived.

PTL received written letters recognizing Carlos' efforts of trying to keep the driver warm with coats from his truck as they waited. As one letter stated, "Had Carlos not seen the accident and stopped, it would have been several hours before anyone would have seen the accident due to the early morning darkness and the distance the car had travelled from the roadway.
