As Hurricane Florence made landfall on the North Carolina Coast, it brought storm surges, record rainfall, and flooding not seen in many years. Pilot Thomas Logistics, working in joint coordination with our customer MACRO, mobilized a group of PTL Team Members to deploy in the days following to bring necessary fuel and fueling assets to the hardest hit communities. These efforts were to ensure continuity of operations for Emergency Management, State Police, National Guard, and back-up power at Medical and Emergency Facilities.These communities included Wilmington and Lumberton, North Carolina and many more areas that were in need. PTL would like to thank our Team Members that were instrumental in these efforts and for stepping up in a time of need.
