We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to lead the development and management of our enterprise data infrastructure and reporting capabilities. Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document existing data architecture across on-prem and cloud-based environments (Microsoft SQL Server, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Design and develop enterprise-grade datasets to support self-service reporting and advanced analytics.
- Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python and orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI for business and operational use cases.
- Collaborate with Software Development teams to integrate new applications and enhance existing systems through data connectivity.
- Work closely with the Program Manager and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent data for reporting and business logic alignment.
- Manage and optimize databases for performance, scalability, and reliability—including archiving, tuning, and backup strategies.
- Mentor and manage a junior DBA, setting bestpractices and providing oversight on database operations.
- Participate in planning and executing AI-driven automation and integrations, aligning with future-state architecture and business process transformation.
- Establish and enforce data governance, security, and quality assurance practices.
