Processes & procedures for monitoring equipment expenses in fuel consumption, maintenance, and repair. Involved in the analysis of maintenance costs, trends, best practices and technology.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform all general maintenance activities.
- Assist the organization in maintaining fleet compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Ability to perform gate checks/audits on equipment departing the yard to ensure DOT compliance and safe travel for Pilot Thomas Logistics (PTL) team members.
- Assist in the development of maintenance budget by providing input relative to policy, costs and established metrics.
- Oversee Fleet registrations, permits, IFTA, and taxes.
- Oversee Fleet Management data and reporting platform(s).
- Negotiate services agreements to ensure cost efficiencies.
- Oversee the requisition of repair parts, fuels, lubricants, supplies and tools required for operations, coordinates with purchasing on prices of parts and equipment.
