Performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, unemployment, and policy review.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Partners with employees and management to communicate various resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
- Provide support in processes and initiatives including employee relations, compensation, talent development, employee engagement and organizational change
- Responds to employee relation issues focused on benefits and leaves.
- Provide metric reports regarding performance management, turnover, and compensation.
- Support human resources compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of human resources practices and policies.
- Provide team member assistance by answering questions and concerns regarding benefits, eligibility and plan provisions.
- Advise and counsel team members regarding Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA):
- o Create leave packets and send to team members.
- o Ensure compliance and administration of leaves.
- o Follow up with team members out on leave.
- o Perform the necessary duties for a team member to return to work.
- Responsible for managing the financial aspects of team member benefits, run weekly reports to reconcile benefits billing.
- Manage the HR and Benefits Outlook inbox.
- Create and send out termination letters.
- Send out new hire Benefit reminders, when applicable.
- Administer the Benefits program:
- o Send out enrollment reminders when applicable.
- o Conduct the Dependent verification audit.
- o Collect documentation for mid-year life events.
- Represents organization during unemployment claims.
- All other duties as assigned.
Other Functions:
- Special projects as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
