Inventory Manager - East Rancho Dominguez, CA

Responsible for diesel inventory daily price controls, computer hardware systems, state taxes and the constant tracking and ordering of all fuels.

Pay: Starting at $100,000 per year DOE

Essential Responsibilities:

Monitor warehouse (virtual) inventory on a daily basis
Coordinate movement of deep draft lubricant products from main blending facility in Rancho Dominguez to support all West Coast Terminals.
Work with blending and manufacturing teams on forecasting changes in demands of marine lubricants to help improve lead times for delivery.

Build and maintain graphs and charts for long term projection and study.
Collect, enter and apprise of lubricant inventory for West Coast Marine.
Track consigned inventories for all deep draft lubricant companies.
Build and maintain graphs and charts for long term projection and study.
Reconcile month-end inventory and diligently manage inventory variances.
Verify quantities shipped and reconcile invoices for receiving.
Watch expiration date on all deep draft lubricant packaged products and rotate inventory through based on receiving date.
Work with all major oil companies to address dead stock and expired products.

Other Functions:

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years' experience in a similar role.
Prior people management and/or leadership skills.
Proficient with Microsoft office products with emphasis on Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build a solid partnership with operations.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
Ability to work independently.
Great organization skills.
Previous industry knowledge is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
